Spokane Falls Community College lists 972 students on its honor roll for spring quarter 2021, which ended in March. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above to be listed on the honor roll. SFCC is one of two community colleges within the Community Colleges of Spokane district and serves about 7,600 students. It is renowned for its theater, music and fine arts as well as exceptional STEM programs. About 60 percent of its graduates transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Other students pursue career or technical degrees or certificates. SFCC has campuses in west Spokane, Fairchild Air Force Base and Pullman.

Associated Industries, in partnership with Greater Spokane Incorporated and the Greater Minds Initiative, announced that 13 students attending Community Colleges of Spokane this fall were awarded Bright Promise scholarships. Each award is equal to 50 percent of the cost of tuition for the 2018-2019 academic year and supports students enrolled full-time pursuing advanced degrees or academic certification in health science, business, technology and industrial manufacturing technology.
